Security
Our approach to protecting client data, platform integrity and infrastructure.
Our security posture
Intellidata operates in regulated financial environments where security is a non-negotiable baseline. Our platforms are designed with security at the architectural level — not as a post-deployment consideration. We apply defence-in-depth principles across all layers of our infrastructure.
Infrastructure
- Secure cloud, on-premise and hybrid deployment configurations available
- All data in transit encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Data at rest encrypted using AES-256
- Network segmentation and access controls enforced at all environment boundaries
- Regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Access control
Access to client data and production environments is governed by the principle of least privilege. All internal access is authenticated, logged and subject to regular review. Multi-factor authentication is enforced across all administrative interfaces.
Incident response
We maintain a formal incident response process. In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting client data, we will notify affected parties within the timeframes required by applicable law and our contractual obligations.
Responsible disclosure
We welcome responsible disclosure of potential security vulnerabilities. If you believe you have identified a security issue in our systems, please contact us at security@intellidata.co.za before making any information public. We commit to acknowledging reports within 48 hours and working collaboratively toward remediation.
Third-party dependencies
We maintain an inventory of third-party dependencies and monitor for known vulnerabilities. Security patches are assessed and applied on a risk-prioritised basis. Critical patches are applied within defined SLAs.
